Overview:

Plastic comb binding machines allows the operator to bind documents up to 480 sheets of standard 80gsm pages. Comb binding is relatively inexpensive and allows for the addition or removal of pages from your document. You can choose from a manual punch binding machine for low volume users, or if you are binding large runs of documents every day you may prefer the advantage of an electric binding machine.

Operation:

The binding machine punches rectangular holes down your pages by pulling a handle (on a manual binding machine) or pressing a foot pedal (if using an electric binding machine). The plastic combs are opened and then held firmly in place by the binding machines comb hooks. As each wad of paper is punched, the paper is then slid over the open teeth. The process is complete when all your sheets and covers are punched and placed over the combs. The plastic comb is then closed by releasing the opening/closing mechanism operated by a handle.

The plastic combs come in a variety of colors and sizes to suit the thickness of your document.
